Engine Rebuild Scope:

What’s Included When We Rebuild Your Engine:
An engine rebuild is a comprehensive service designed to restore your engine’s performance, reliability, and longevity. During this process, your engine is fully disassembled, inspected, machined, and reassembled using new wear-related internal components.

Short Block Services (Engine Block & Rotating Assembly):

Your rebuild includes:

• Full engine disassembly and cleaning

• Thorough cleaning of internal components

• Cylinder block inspection

• Cylinder wall honing (or boring if required)

• New piston rings, rod, main, and cam bearings

• New full gasket and seal set

• Crankshaft & Cam Shaft inspection and polishing

• Connecting rod inspection

• Oil pump inspection and/or replacement if required

Cylinder Head Service:

Your cylinder heads receive:

• Complete disassembly and cleaning

• Cylinder head resurfacing

• Valve re-seating for proper sealing

• Replacement of valve stem seals

• Inspection and cleaning of valves, springs, guides, and seats

• Pressure testing (if applicable)
  

  Additional Recommended Processes:

  • Cleaning and flushing of oil passages

  • Cleaning of coolant and intake passages

  • Camshaft and lifter inspection (replacement if necessary)

   What’s Not Automatically Included:

  The following items are not automatically replaced unless inspection requires it:

  • Pistons & Rods

  • Cylinder sleeves

  • Cylinder head replacement

  • Lifters & Push Rods

  • Performance upgrades

  • Non-internal components (sensors, injectors, ignition parts, etc.)

  If any of these parts fail inspection, we will review your options with you before moving forward.

   The Goal of an Engine Rebuild:

  Once complete, your engine is restored to:

  • Proper factory (OEM) operating specifications and revive reliability and performance.

  • Improved reliability

  • Solid compression and sealing

  • Eliminate internal leaks, failures, and clean efficient operation

  Engine Rebuild:
  A process in which the engine is completely disassembled, cleaned, inspected, machined as needed, and reassembled with new wear-related internal parts, including full cylinder head servicing.
  
  What is a Long Block?
  A long block is the core of your engine, including the engine block, pistons, crankshaft, connecting rods, and cylinder heads. It does not include external parts like the intake, fuel system, timing components, or accessories. This rebuild ensures all internal components and heads are restored to proper specifications for reliable engine performance.

All prices and offers apply to long block engines only and are based on the exchange of a rebuildable core.
