What is a remanufactutred/recondition engine?

Remanufacturing is "the rebuilding of a product to specifications of the original manufactured product using a combination of reused, repaired and new parts". It requires the repair or replacement of worn out or obsolete components and modules.

What is a long block engine?

Long block is an automotive term for an engine sub-assembly that consists of the assembled block, crankshaft, cylinder head, camshaft, and valve train. A long block does not include fuel system, electrical, intake, and exhaust components, as well as other components. 

What are external engine accessories?

External engine parts are parts that are mainly outside the block such as valve covers, air cleaners, oil pans, pulleys, dampers, flex plates, water pump, timing chain, sensors, and more.
